GLORIA!

Yesterday my mom and Rob treated all of us to a wonderful evening of dinner and the Prestonwood Christmas Choir presentation. It was truly a lovely evening. We went to Maggiano's in Plano for a family style meal. It was great! We had a party of 16 and more than half of them were kids. The waiter had a lot of patience to deal w/ 10 children and all the challenges they bring. The restaurant was perfect for the whole family. We ate up in a loft area where they put big parties with kids (I think- because there were 2 other parties up there as well). Anyways, the food was excellent and the service was great. The atmosphere was very nice as well. If you are ever in the Plano area I HIGHLY recommend Maggiano's it gets 4 stars in our book. Prestonwood was just amazing. I can't get over the size of that church. Everyone was very welcoming and what an impressive children's area they have. I can't help but always check out what other churches are doing in the children's area. It's just in my blood :) . John Tesh was the special guest at the performance last night. It was really neat to see him and hear why he chose to walk away from Entertainment Tonight. I remember watching him on that show. He is so talented. I just thought how great it was that he followed his dream. If he had stayed it would have been such a waste of his God given talent. Prestonwood has amazingly talented people at their church and what a show they put on! It was a great way to get into the Christmas Spirit.

In this picture they had 2 Drummers dropping down from the ceiling
as they played their drums.

Did I mention they had 500 people in their choir?

Thank-you mom and Rob for a wonderful evening!

You went to my favorite restaurant!!! If I knew you were going I would've told you to get the chopped salad. Mario and I always fight over it. Where is Prestonwood Church?

Prestonwood is in Plano, just 3mins from the Maggiano's out there. I think that Maggiano's is now on my list along w/ Pappadeaux's for my fav. places to eat!
