It’s official :) we are all Cowboy fans!
I have to admit it has taken 9yrs. for me to come around.
I have never really watched a game. Since the birth of our twins I have resented the entire football season. Preseason, Playoffs, Sports Center, Pre game, Fantasy, Madden..all of it. and Thanksgiving…why do they have to play on Thanksgiving?? I have never gotten used to planning the entire Holiday around a football game.
BUT this year I was convicted as I saw my wonderful husband getting geared up for this season. We went through a rough patch last summer and he has since given up a lot of the obsessed behavior about football he once had. No more Sports Center, Midnight Madden runs, 2 or 3 Fantasy football leagues, or being glued to the TV for every single football game that is being played. I know it is because he loves me. So as he got ready for his favorite team this year I surprised him with a Jersey for myself (he wears his every time they play) and shirts for the kids. Now we have football nights in support of him and his team and I watch the games with him. I am glad to take part in something he loves so much. I would say I regret all the years I didn’t – but marriage is about growing and learning. I guess we both had some growing and learning to do.

Way to support your guy, Celeste! I can't say I'm as big a woman as you, but I think it's a fabulous way to show him how much you care. Dan, on the other hand, may never forgive y'all. : )
Hey Celeste, I just wanted to say hello, and tell you and Jeff that you guys have an amazing family. The kids are getting so big. It has been way to long since we have seen each other. I am living up here now. Not to far from you. Maybe we can get together sometime. Tell my cousin I said hello and I miss him.
