Rodeo Girl
I have always said R was my rodeo girl. She loves animals and is just very good with them. She is fairly fearless as well. Her true love is horses, but she's just a natural with all animals. Our friends let us come down and watch them shear their sheep last week at the local 4H club. I have seriously been considering getting some animals of our own and wanted to check things out first hand. The kids all had a great time playing with the animals. The barn was clean and very nice. We spent about 2 hrs. out there. Then they let us tag along with them to the Tarrant Co. Junior Livestock Show and watch them show their animals. They let all three kids participate in the Showmanship Competition. R won for her division. She got a trophy, ribbon and medal. It was great! She did good. I couldn't believe that they weren't shy at all. They walked out there and showed their animals in front of a crowd and all. The judge walks around all serious and asks you questions. I'm not sure I would have been so brave. I was very proud of them all. They are all very excited to care for an animal, work as a team and then compete at the Rodeo and County. Anyhow, it was a great experience and I am so thankful to our friends for letting us join them that day. I can't wait to get our own animals and be a part of the 4H club. I think it will be a great life experience for our children and myself..

The Lunch Box
I don't know what it is , but my kiddos are fascinated with lunch boxes and eating out of them.
They are just so cute I had to post some pics of them enjoying their lunches at school (home).
Well, if that is all I have to do to get them excited I am on board! I mean how can I deny them the pleasure of a sac lunch, right?
R was so sweet. She finished her work and I told her she could break for lunch. She sat at her desk with her lunch and then came up to me and said, "I am going to wait for E & C because, you know, lunch isn't too fun without them. "
